Super delicious and huge burgers with a terrace and a great view!

Time was much better! The new menu doesn't look much. I used to be there more often and with pleasure - the emphasis is on earlier ... sry ... Operation is super inflexible.

It's a really nice concept. Nice people and despite Corona times you can see how hard everyone tries. Gladly again.... Thank you ☺️

Nice ambience with a view of the Rhine. Interesting menu and drinks menu. Portions are sufficient but not really cheap. Tastes ok but not great. Waiter nice and attentive.

Fantastic views, right on the Promenade.... Nice burgers and Crawfish bowl....Tasty stuff.... Just sit down with a Beer and relax..... The overall experience is nice. Mind you, it's quite a busy area hence be prepared to wait for the order being taken. Service is acceptable but can be improved... But we enjoyed a lot!😊

Despite the large number of people, the service is always friendly, and the atmosphere on the Rhine is great. The new menu is great. The ceviche is sensationally delicious, the fillet of beef fried to perfection. Delicate and slightly pink inside. We'll be back soon and will continue to eat our way through this menu. It all reads so delicious that we want to try everything.

We wanted to test the new menu today, but unfortunately it didn't go as planned. - Cascara Limo not yet available on the 3rd day of the menu - Rice for the gumbo was out. Waiting time of 30 minutes was ok, but the Jambalaya was brought first. Fortunately, the right food came very quickly afterwards. The gumbo was delicious, but unfortunately only slightly spicy and the red chilli was out of place on the menu. - Baby spinach was missing from the linguines - We would have liked to have had a brownie for dessert, but unfortunately that too was over. At least the waitress was nice and apologized.

Very well located location directly on the Rhine, really recommended for summer temperatures. The lemonades are fruity and fresh and offer good cooling, they are also not too sweet. The burgers were served quickly and warm, but I expected a little more for the price (very little Gorgonzola available). The service was friendly, if a little inattentive. An ashtray was asked three times and it did not come. A request for salt and pepper was also heard, but it did not come. The cleanliness of the men's room could also be better.

Corona shouldn't be an excuse for rudeness. The food was definitely better a few years ago and the service was friendlier. Unfortunately the salad was soaked in dressing and the iced tea was ice-cold and watery due to way too many crushed ice cubes. There will be no next time here, only the good location and view as well as the speed of operation with the mood swings (assembly are not excuses) bring 2 stars here.

Super nice service staff. The view of the Rhine was great and sitting outside was perfect because you couldn't hear the city noise. Burgers were good, so were wraps. You can go back at any time, you should be there again

The restaurant offers a great view of the Rhine The service was very courteous and friendly. The food and drinks were also very tasty and the price / performance ratio was perfectly fine. Will definitely come again :)

The service is always very eager and unceasingly binding! My sisters and I find the restaurant suitable for all events, regardless of whether with colleagues, friends or family. I haven't been so fascinated by a restaurant for a long time. As far as I'm concerned, my colleague and I have now ordered the entire menu up and down. The meal was brought particularly quickly.

Unfortunately, the staff seemed overwhelmed and sometimes incompetent, and also cheeky .. We are waiting for 4 plus baby in the stroller. Since the wasps were in a rather semi-good mood, we asked for a table inside, as we saw that there was space. Unfortunately we had to ask a total of five times until the answer came that the table inside was reserved - when we left about 2.5 hours later, nobody was sitting at this table ...! On request, we were brought coffee grounds to keep the wasps away. Some waiters tried very hard, to others you felt like you had to explain the task (clearing plates, clearing empty glasses). The view of the Rhine is excellent and the location is ok. The food was partly good, the drinks were also ok - unfortunately the "know-it-all waiter" sometimes made it very unpleasant ... it's a shame. The service unfortunately made us leave earlier than planned! We hope to get better.

I had one of the best burgers in The Big Easy, they are a bit on the expensive side, but the food quality is well worth it. Staff is polite and helpful, but a bit overworked when it gets busy. One area in which big improvements can be made is exterior lighting, I could hardly read the menu or even see my food. All in all, The Big Easy is a great place well worth of the 5 star review.

The location with the view of the Rhine is beautiful. When you sit there it feels like vacation. The food is unfortunately nothing special and gives the impression that finished products are used. The portions are okay.

The cocktails are very good and the establishment well placed by the river. We ate burgers there and it was a big disappointment ... Frankly, it's not good ... the meat is not fresh at all and looks like rubber ...

Very well located bar and restaurant. In addition, with a chic, large terrace to enjoy the great view of the Rhine. Prices can be read on the photos and are within the usual framework of such a location. The interior is clean and tidy and offers at least as much space as on the terrace - rather a little more (see photos). The toilets are also inviting and tidy. The staff consists of rather young people and they are direct but not pushy. Overall, very suitable for a spontaneous end of a long working day or for a meeting with friends. Conclusion: holiday flair on the Rhine at moderate prices - recommendation!

Again and again totally delicious .. Atmosphere very coherent and the service staff totally friendly .. On the terrace the view of the Rhine is relaxing, and you quickly forget everyday stress .. Only the waiting times for the food are a bit long, but in to endure the beautiful atmosphere ... Highly recommended

The food is and always has been delicious. I have tried different meals over the years and it has never been nothing but delicious. Today I had the veggie wrap with the sweet potatoes and it was fingerlicking good. But maybe make sure to change the dip for the fries... it is served with ketchup and for the sweet potatoes I would have prefered some sour cream or anything else than ketchup lol But even without the dip... the fries were delicious. Prices are extremely fair too. The service is super friendly and they check up on you on the regular even when its packed.

If I could, I wouldn't give a star at all! The food was cold and the rice tasted like cheap microwave rice! When I politely pointed this out to the waitress and I returned the dish, she offered me coffee as compensation. This is absolutely out of proportion. I waived the coffee and asked you to take the dish off the bill because it was simply inedible. Then she replied that she could only offer me coffee, but I had to pay the dish because she couldn't do anything if I didn't like it. That is an absolute cheek. That was the first and the last time!

Service are very friendly and quick to help you. Was here 3 years ago and the food was not good, but now it is much better.

You have to wait at least an hour to get a cup of drink. This restaurant must hire more waiters.

My friends and me were waiting for food for about 30 min even though it wasn't full. So I went to ask our waitress if it was coming. She asked to wait a second and went to the kitchen to ask about our food. I was waiting for about 3 min. Then as the door to the kitchen was open I saw our waitress eating and laughing with her colleague. So I went in and asked if she asked about our food. She just pointed at the plates and said "it's there" and turned around and kept talking and laughing with her colleague. I asked how long we should wait still. She just picked up the plates without saying anything and started walking. I said I am sorry why it's taking so long. And what she answered to it : "do you want your food or not?". I said yes as we were hungry. And she just went up and gave us our food. She said that when she went into the kitchen she had to wait for the food to be done. It's not true. While she was eating and laughing, the food was ready standing there. The ceasar wrap and fries were unfortunately cold. I said to her that the food was cold and I am not coming back to this place probably ever again. And she replied "there are many more places in this city for you". So I will follow her advice and will choose another place to enjoy good food and service!!! ✌

Do not go here for the American Brunch. Understaffed for a place so crowded. There were perhaps 4 items I would qualify as parts of an American breakfast. The sunny side up eggs and sausages were cold, cereal milk was lukewarm, but the waffles were the saving grace of this place--you make your own, and they offer real maple syrup and walnuts to go with it. Don't bother ordering drinks if you are looking to stay here for less than 45 minutes. The whole thing feels like they just picked some passable items from the menu that could work well with a buffet and called it an American Brunch. I strongly suggest skipping it. Not worth the 16 euros.

It was very good food and serves

As much as the service is friendly, and the cocktails spiked with quite some alcohol, the dishes leave room for improvement. Based on the hamburger that I had, I can guarantee that other places in Mainz serve better ones. Kudos still for the Black Long Island Ice Tea!

Great selection of drinks and food, all very yummy. Most staff spoke English and all were friendly.

To be honest I can’t believe this place has 4 stars. Because of the location I’ve come 3x... it’s always slooooooow service, (30 min to order, 30 min to get your drink, 1h+ to get your food... even a salad on a slow day like today, oh and if you want to pay try going to the bar or wait another 45 minutes) the kitchen loses your order, there’s no alcohol in the drinks, you have to chase down the waiters (more than usual for Germany)... and finally I’ve nebee had one thing there I actually wanted to eat or drink. At least, it’s not worth the wait. I’m close to boycotting it so they will go out of business so a better place can open here.

Food is decent. View is great. Not sure about parking. Service was very nice. We had a nice young lady serving us. She spoke English well and made us feel welcome. Will try other dishes and update review as I go.

Great diner with very friendly servers, awesome location at the River, in summer outdoor seating. One of the few places in the area where Americans will find a great pulled pork sandwich.
